EHS Support has been retained by a large multi-party client addressing abandoned waste materials at a former oil processing facility to provide project coordination, group fund management, technical committee coordination, and subject matter expertise.
Our role includes leading technical consultants through submitting two remedial investigation reports, representing the potentially responsible party (PRP) group’s interests in meetings and conference calls, and participating on its behalf on committees (e.g., technical committee and sub-groups). We have also been tasked with providing both technical and strategic reviews of site-related documents, helping to develop financial models for anticipated cashflow requirements, and coordinating low-risk investment options that support the PRP group’s steering committee with fiscal forecasting to its member companies.
This site was listed on the National Priorities List (NPL) in 2012 and has completed multiple removal action stages in both of the operable units. Additionally, a final remedial investigation report for one of the operable units has been approved by agencies, and the draft remedial investigation report for the second operable unit report was recently submitted for review and approval. EHS Support continues to support both the individual PRP group members and the larger multi-party group with investigation/feasibility options and site management activities.
