EHS Support partnered with an Australian client to address the requirements of ASRS S2 by delivering a rigorous climate risk assessment with a strong focus on financial risk quantification. The project began with detailed mapping of climate-related hazards specific to the client’s sector and geography, evaluating acute and chronic physical risks as well as transition risks arising from policy, market, and technological changes. Leveraging advanced scenario modeling and financial impact analysis, EHS Support quantified potential effects on asset valuations, revenue streams, and operational costs under multiple future climate scenarios. The assessment included workshops with key business units to integrate climate risk insights into enterprise risk management and financial planning processes. The final deliverable provided the client with a robust, ASRS S2-aligned disclosure report, featuring clear metrics and targets along with actionable strategies to manage and disclose climate-related financial risks to investors and regulators. This approach enabled the client to proactively address regulatory expectations while strengthening financial resilience in a changing climate.
